These pendants are intricately hand-carved from pieces of coconut shell. The colour of a coconut shell ranges from dark and milk chocolate brown through to small areas of pale, creamy-coloured shell. The artist painstakingly collects these pale pieces and incorporates them into each pendant, contrasting beautifully with the darker shell. The final product is smooth and highly polished, hung from a shoelace-style string with a small adjustable bead.
